To Heaven

Funeral of Mrs. Christina Lutzenberger took place from her late residence, 333 west Third street, this morning. There was a large attendance, and tearful eyes were an evidence of how deeply the friends and relatives felt their loss. Impressive services were held, both in German and English, after which the remains were interred in Woodland. The floral offerings were of unusual beauty and elegance. Noticeable were the following; "Gates ajar," from the Smizer Club. The piece was a large one made of White Carnations studded with roses and Pond lillies and surmounted by a white dove; a large crown of white carnations surrounded by a golden band of Marshal Neil roses. Then there was a fan o white flowers resting on an easel, and in the upper corner of the fan was perched a dove, looking down on the words "At rest," in purple immortelles, another noticeable piece was a pillar of the white, with the word "Mother," in purple on it.
