Funeral Today For Mrs. Furry

Services for Mrs. Etta Belle Furry are being held today (Monday) at 2 p. m. in the Spencer Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Furry was born a few miles east of Salem on March 7, 1881. She died Jan. 13 at the age of 79.

She was married to Richard Monroe Furry and three children were born, one of whom, Herman, died in infancy. Mr. Furry survives as do two Children, Julia and Richard W. of St. Louis; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Hubert Leonard; and one daughter-in-law, Thelma Furry; three sisters, Mrs. A. A. Ball. Mrs. Mamie Gibbs and Mrs. Jessie Gravatt; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Furry was converted and baptized by the Rev. John Bryant and joined the Baptist Church when she was 16.
